This policy applies to event registrations and tickets sold by Foreplay Events, LLC, doing business as Foreplay Golf Company, including the Green Mountain Classic and every other current or future event operated by Foreplay.
Event registrations and tickets
Event registrations and tickets are non-refundable unless Foreplay cancels the event. A registration reserves a limited position in the event. Once a purchase is confirmed, Foreplay commits venue, golf, merchandise, food, staffing, and vendor expenses based on the number of registered participants.
Participant substitutions and transfers
If the original team captain or participant cannot attend, Foreplay may allow the registration to be transferred to another team captain or participant. Any substitution or transfer requires Foreplay's written approval before the event. Contact us with the purchaser's name, order information, and proposed replacement participant.
Cancellation and resale requests
A customer who needs to cancel may ask Foreplay to help resell the registration or ticket. Foreplay will make a reasonable effort when timing and demand allow, but resale is not guaranteed and requesting help does not create a right to a refund.
If Foreplay successfully resells the canceled registration, Foreplay may issue a discretionary refund to the original payment method. Any such refund may be reduced by payment-processing fees, service fees, and other costs that Foreplay cannot recover.
If Foreplay cancels an event
If Foreplay cancels an event and does not reschedule it, customers will receive a refund of the event registration or ticket price. Foreplay is not responsible for separate travel, lodging, or other third-party expenses.
Postponed or rescheduled events
If an event is postponed or rescheduled, the registration automatically transfers to the new date. A customer who cannot attend the new date may request one of the options Foreplay makes available for that event: an approved participant substitution, a transfer or credit to another Foreplay-operated event when offered, or assistance reselling the spot. Unless Foreplay ultimately cancels the event, a cash refund is not guaranteed.
Weather, course conditions, and events outside our control
Golf and live events may be affected by weather, course conditions, venue requirements, safety concerns, government action, natural disasters, labor or transportation disruptions, public-health conditions, and other circumstances outside Foreplay's reasonable control. Foreplay may adjust the schedule, format, number of holes, activities, or venue; delay play; or postpone or reschedule an event when reasonably necessary. These changes do not automatically make a registration refundable. If Foreplay determines that the event cannot be held and cancels it, the cancellation terms above apply.
Merchandise, hotels, and third-party purchases
Merchandise purchases, hotel reservations, travel, and products or services sold by third parties are governed by the terms presented by the applicable seller or provider. Hotel and other third-party cancellation decisions must be handled directly with that provider.
